Bio
I am a traveler, capoeirista, semi-adventure seeker, foodie, anthropologist, SF native, paralegal, travel photographer. I am currently living in my hometown of San Francisco. I began traveling on my own right out of high school. The idea of blogging and posting my photos were not things I was interested in, even though many people made the suggestion that I should. Blogging has finally caught-on.
I am drawn to photography because it allows me to see places, people, and other things that I wouldn't have in my daily life. Striking images of locations around the world make me want to visit those places. I came across Pamukkale in Turkey and how magnificent and unreal it seemed. I made a note to myself that I must one-day visit that place. Images like that make fantasy real for me.
Beautiful places such as Pamukkale do exist. They aren't just a part of a dreamland.
I also think photos of mundane daily activities can be just as captivating. It can provide a glimpse into another way of life, which to me I find fascinating. I enjoy seeing other ways people live and realize that the way I live in San Francisco, CA is not the only way.
Photography to me means being able to see the world the way it is even if I am not physically there to see it.
Although, the second part of my fascination is taking the trip to see these locations, people and ways of life with my own two eyes.
