Bio
Like many others, I walked the isle and prayed the prayer of salvation as a young child. Also like many, at the current time, the driver of my decision wasn't a sincere love or desire for Jesus but rather the fearful reality of hell (and understandably so).
Several years would go by as I lived each day in a fruitless "Christianity.” Within my senior year of high school, God would make the “BUT GOD” passages a reality of my life. In that moment He opened my eyes to the reality of my rebellion and to the healing and hope that He alone can bring. From that moment forward, I was immediately plugged into a local church body that deeply loved Jesus and humbly loved others. What a blessing that turned out to be.
Little did I know at the time, God would use the next few years of discipleship, leadership training, bible studies, life groups and volunteer service within the church to prepare my heart for full time ministry.
In July of 2010, I married my beautiful bride, Kelsey. In August of 2011, God would relocate Kelsey and I to Mountain Home where I am currently serving at The River as Music Minister.
My desire for this blog is to create an avenue of challenging thought and discussion. My hope is to edify and be edified. Until Christ returns or calls us home, may the church be found faithful, sharpening and encouraging one another daily and all the more as we see the Day drawing near.
