Bio
My name is Joe Rini, and after a lifetime of being a New York sports fan, in 2012 I started covering the New York Mets as a member of the press for the Rockland County Times. In the years since then, I've tried to bring other fans along with me on this journey, whether it's by asking the manager the questions you'd want answered, chatting with players about how they prepare for battle and handle success or failure, or catching up with some former New York sports heroes. It's a privilege covering the Mets for the Rockland County Times, and now I hope to add to that privilege online with Faninthebox.
