Bio
I enjoy teaching the old art of spinning wool, mohair, and other fibers into yarn with our own fiber. Gardening is challenging in Rhode Island, short growing season. We have or neighbor's honey bees, a few birds, rarely a butterfly, and delicious vegetables for the summer. Writing has always been a hobby, books available: "Remembering New Hill" oral histories for those who enjoy stories, pictures about early 1900's old South, "Stories of an Independent Yankee," my father's early 1900's oral history in Killingly, CT, and nearly ready stories from a nurse about how to care for yourself and your loved ones in a hospital, and life in family when not working.
