Bio
Julian "Elijah" Martinez is a teaching artist based in the DMV (DC,Maryland, and Virginia). Born in Seattle Washington, Elijah spent the bulk of his childhood traveling. Exposure to the diversity of America created a passion for the arts, and a tad bit of wander lust.
Elijah was given the opportunity to attend Elon University, NC for his ungrad studies and earned a BFA in Acting and a BA in Lighting Design. Since college, Elijah has been privileged to perform with award winning theaters such as the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Florida and the Hangar Theater in Ithaca NY. A few note worthy productions include: Hamlet, All’s Well that Ends Well (Orlando Shakespeare Theater), Man of La Mancha, Kill to Eat (Hanger Theater), and Cymbeline (Chesapeake Shakespeare Theater) to name a few.
Elijah has been described as a passionate and dedicated actor. He also has an uncanny knack for comic book trivia, and can go toe to toe with even the most rabid nerds.
