Bio
I am starting vet tech school later this month through St Pete College's distance program. I am 35, so I imagine I will be older than most other people I come into contact in this field (including the vets!). I have made two prior attempts at vet tech school, both thwarted for money/personal reasons. I am finally in a position where I believe I can handle the emotional/financial components of it and stay sane (I hope). I will be working a 40-hour a week job (in a non-vet industry) while working in a clinic for 20 hours a week to meet my clinical requirements. I will also need time to study, spend with my spouse Ryan (who is hopefully going to make me proud by picking up the slack in the form of housework) and do basic stuff (like shower, and shop for groceries).
