A child of God who is grateful for each day He gives me; lover of the outdoors, the beach, and sampling eclectic foods; travel junkie who also loves spending time with family and friends, particularly my nieces and nephews; a devourer of nonfiction books and medical research journals/textbooks; advocate for those who do not have the physical health to wade through the current medical maze; English and nursing graduate who loves writing as well as science; former sales representative for Eisai, a pharmaceutical company that I highly respect; a woman who accidentally discovered she had Lyme disease having no idea the political nightmare that is involved with it, the varying symptoms associated with it and the vast struggles many sufferers experience; committed to being part of the change that is needed for all Lyme patients, regardless of financial status, to receive the care that is needed; I hold a fondness for people of all ages and animals of all kinds; a sucker for any kind of vanilla milkshake put in front of me but also one who stays abreast of healthy eating and follows it most of the time; one who loves life and does what she can to help make this world a better place!!
