Bio
Asst. Director of Reah Ministry
I received a Master of Religious Education from Oklahoma City University and completed the Two Year Academy for Spiritual Formation through the Upper Room Ministries of the United Methodist Church. After serving in the local church for several years I felt led to ministry focusing on spiritual growth, retreats, and small groups ministry for both churches and community service organizations. Reah Ministry affords me the opportunity to serve a variety of communities. I am in ministry with persons who are homeless, persons recovering from addiction, church and neighborhood spiritual direction groups.
I treasure time with family and friends. Laughter has proven to be sacred in my life. As a deep breath expands the lungs...laughter expands my soul!
I believe stories are sacred and connect us to one another. Whether doubled over in laughter as we share a story, or eyes filling with tears and a lump in our throat, or our inner jaw dropping, when shared and held, stories connect, heal, reveal, and make us “real.” So often it is through telling our story that we find we are not alone. It is this sharing that our facades begin to fall away and our true selves emerge.
I have a passion to be with and provide opportunities for others as they discover the beauty and the sacredness of their life stories. My experience has been that this awareness of God’s presence in our journeys influences how we move through our days and wander toward our future.
