Bio
Kate Elizebeth Nagel is an author, advisor, and advocate. She explores the world through the written word and lens of her camera.
She has published two memoir / personal development books. Untethered is the story of how she let go of everything she needed to survive so that she could have the life she wanted to live. Becoming Kate offers twelve lessons Kate needed to learn so she could have the life she wanted to live. Both tittles are published by Balboa Press, a division of Hay House Publishing.
She founded the Kauila Project, a personal development organization in support of her belief that healing is an attainable goal within everyone's reach. She blends proven methods, experiential wisdom, and spiritual practice in a unique manner, exposing life's possibilities. Kate guides individuals as they untie the binds of pain, journey into higher levels of awareness and clarity and realize deeper levels of lasting peace.
Kate earned BA and MBA degrees from Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a certified mediator and earned her coaching certification from the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She is an avid runner and hiker. When she's not on the trail, you'll find her in the kitchen cooking or evolving her practice in yoga or pilates. She considers the world her playground and has never met a swing she didn't like.
