Bio
First I would like to thank you for your interest in my blog. I started on Wordpress after turning fifty years old and realizing I had a story that needs to be told. You would think by this point in my life I would have pretty much settled into my life, but that is so far from my reality. So many people who know me have told me to write a book about my life because they want to buy it. It's true, I've had some life challenging events occur in my first fifty years, yet, I not only survived but I have thrived! I am known for writing very interesting papers and letters in small groups, however, I don't believe I am able to write an entire book. Perhaps, I could write children's books to protect their little minds, bodies and souls or books about emotional, physical and sexual safety for adults and children. Many of these types of situations I have lived through are hard to identify not just by naive children but seasoned adults as well.
Marring my high school sweetheart straight out of nursing school, I was determined to be free of my childhood home and family situation as soon as I could. My husband and I have two children. My son passed away from cancer at age twenty-four and my daughter has taken to becoming a world traveler, home three weeks out of thirty months. We live in the same small town we were raised in, with our "grand-dog". You would think we live a simple life. Once you have read my blog and get an understanding of my life you will see I have had a bumpy road to endure to find my true self.
I hope after you read my blog you become stronger and more aware of situational affects relationships can have on individuals and their loved ones. I hope you enjoy my journey to healing. Not just to survive my life but to thrive in it!
