Bio
I grew up an Episcopalian but didn't encounter the risen Christ until age 35. I have gravitated to that segment of the church most open to the Holy Spirit and the power of God—the streams known as the emerging Bride/Son revelation, the Apostolic-Prophetic, and Word of Faith. Currently, I attend teaching times at The Berean Assembly, a Messianic Fellowship and am a degree student at Boomerang University. Also, I am part of Boomerang Church in Albemarle, NC. I have seen and heard much in terms of what the Father can do in a life. The Lord can restore the most broken of humans, as I was; and heal and deliver the most dysfunctional of families, as He is doing with mine. He gives purpose to the aimless. His love brings deadened hearts back to life. Finding the Father's arms is the deepest and richest of experiences. I believe in telling others about Jesus Christ and His salvation. And the Lord of the harvest calls you to labor, too. [Matthew 9:35-38 "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few."] My work as a freelance writer/ghostwriter/editor/researcher at local, state, and national levels lends itself to creating engaging Christian spiritual bios. I majored in English at Davidson, studied journalism at UNC, and received training in editing through UC Berkeley. Plus I put in two years of grad school at Duke. Through poynter.org, I'm soon studying investigative journalism. Evangelism and discipleship are part of my ministry, too, as I earned a Doctor of Ministry through Christian Life School of Theology Global and have poured over the Bible and many anointed books for thirty years.
