Bio
Welcome to It Started With Breakfast.
I’m Kat, I’m 23 and I love good food, good music and good margaritas. Throughout my blog I hope to share with you some healthy AND delicious recipes that I have discovered or created myself, with the majority of these being gluten and/or dairy free and generally easy, quick and fun to make (who am I kidding, I like to indulge so there will be some slightly less healthy recipes in here too). Although primarily about food, I may occasionally ramble about fashion and exercise as I believe both link well with what we eat and how we feel about ourselves.
Things I love:
Ollie the Dog – I have a border terrier called Ollie who can only be described as perfect, apart from her growing list of health issues and unfortunate hatred of other dogs (we have 6 borders in the family, so gatherings are always a little tense). She is by far the best kitchen assistant as I am a rather messy chef and will most likely be in the majority of my pictures.
Peanut Butter – When I’m in one of those grazing moods I like to eat this with a spoon, I blame my dad for this one. But nothing beats the taste, so there will no doubt be a section of recipes dedicated to it.
Tomatoes – They go with everything, they come in so many different varieties and they have so many recipes dedicated to them. As well as their delicious qualities, the smell of fresh tomatoes reminds me of my Nan and Granddads greenhouse so I’ve always enjoyed cooking with them.
Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you find something you can take into your own kitchen.
Please feel free to comment, or if you would like to know more about the recipes, anything I discuss or just have some recipes of your own you would like to share then don’t hesitate to contact me – [email protected]
