Bio
I am fun sized--5'2. Brunette, passionate and formidable.
I love all things food--the smell, ambiance, preparation, ingredients, wine pairings, cooking, the chemistry, long meals with good friends or family--food brings out love, food is love.
My Mom is my best friend and I speak to her everyday in heaven. I can still feel her soft, supple, Mary Kay hands holding mine as she talks to "Her Princess Kaitlin."
My husband is my Rock. We have been through more in our short one year of marriage than most people experience in thirty. He is steadfast, my penguin--mate for life--, the ultimate caregiver, my best friend, and my mountain top.
I have two younger brothers who are my pride and joy. Just a mention of their names and my face lights up like a Christmas tree. They too are my best friends. I want the best for them, I want them to tell me everything, I want to take care of them...not like their Mom (I tried that and it never worked), but I just want to be a witness to their lives. A part of their life, to say I was there! I was not a bystander, but an active participant! I love you my boys, with all my heart, forever.
I work for an organization called Bright Pink. The only national non-profit that focuses on the early detection and prevention of Breast and Ovarian Cancers while supporting those who are at high risk. I am more than passionate about this--I want this to be my life's work. I am currently a volunteer and waiting for God to reveal the opportunity to move forward and give me a platform.
