Bio
I was born and raised in Hawaii, I also spent many years in S. California. I am 55, living happily in the Midwest for a few years now, loving the beauty all around us through seasons. I love the indescribable beauty in each and every place I have lived whether I was surrounded by lush greenery or the beauty of brown.
We have survived major changes like, moving, ridiculously hard to handle people, divorce, blending family, beat horrific health issues and more. We have a beautiful family and have witnessed miracles through life and death. By no means are we perfect in any way and are sinners asking forgiveness daily.
I'm a spunky gal who likes simple things in life and organization. I love to cook, especially home-made. I am a self-taught gardener, canner and try to be prepared for most things in life and I'm still learning about all these things and more. My heart has always been country, I love rural life and raise chickens, for both eggs and meat.
I Love hanging out with my hubby/family or friends, cookin' outside, sippin' wine, dancing, cold beer on a hot day, chatting and laughing. My new love is open fire, Dutch oven cookin'.
I'm prayerful, do my best to be a good example and responsible for my own actions. I am not a professional writer at all, I just speak from my heart and am pretty silly at times. I'm keeping this blog as a journal for ourselves, if someone is inspired in any way or learns something new than all the better. Hope you come back to visit again, I cherish friends and their comments.
