Bio
I am an anime fanatic and have been for over a decade and a half. I am into anything anime and/or Japanese including its history, culture, religions, mythology, customs and its kawaii that is lovely language which I have been teaching myself for 15 long years. I am considered to be an expert in all things anime in general and the Lovely Angels (Dirty Pair and DP Flash anime series/films/music/books/manga) in particular. I have written two fanfictions re the Angels called Xmas with the Dirty Pair and Angel Wings. My writing nom de plume that is pen name of keimanandkei is well known around the web as is my many monikers (Keiman of Anime, keimanzero, keiman0, the Keiman and K&K). There are only a handful of us true Angel-a-holics experts on the globe. I am proud to count myself in their number. I review many things, make up trivia quizzes, answer questions, blog, maintain two fan websites and several blogs, post a TV viewing guide for anime (ComcastOnDemand) twice a month at many of my blogs and at both websites. I am a diehard NO Saints' NFL fan (since 1966 when Al Hirt was owner) and an avid golfer of 40+ years with a handicap of 5 and 13 aces or holes-in-one to my credit. I collect anime, VHS and DVD films and other series like all 54 eppys of the original Star Trek, CDs, cassettes, 8 Tracks (remember them?), reel-to-reel tapes (gotta be over 50 to remember Wollensak and Beta videos although Beta was mentioned on a Cowboy Bebop eppy), lighters, posters, other anime paraphernalia, trivia (the best source on the web for anything and everything is wikipedia.org. If it ain't there then trust me- it just don't exist!), downloads of video and audio (I have all of the Angels music recordings 'burnt' onto CDs and saved to my system and I just found out you can purchase DLs for MP3s and players from Amazon, Tokyopop, etc. so maybe I'll get me an MP3 player, IPOD or something)and anime as well as sundry information on well everything. I am 59 years young and feel like a 15 year old kid! Forced into early retirement by Bush-a-nomics I now work from home blogging, surveys, web ads readings, gaming, contests, data entry, freelance writing and such. I was a real estate title insurance troubleshooter for 40+ years at LandAmerica and Commonwealth Land Title as well as Delaware Valley Title Searches in Delaware County PA-USA. I live about 30 miles from Philadelphia (home of the NFL Eagles for whom my late papa played in the late 1940s) and 7 from Media in a small community (Toby Farms) in Brookhaven PA. We moved here in 1977 having resided for 17 years in Lenni PA before that. Prior to that move we lived everywhere in Delaware County PA and even had a stint in Claymont DE. From 1970-1978 I served in the PA Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant where I was in charge of arms distribution. I was trained in EOD (Demolition) which I suppose accounts for my fave anime babe- Kei of the LA whose motto is 'Never blow up tomorrow what you can blow up today'. I was also a weapons platoon NCO as well as a machine gunner, 90 MM recoilless rifleman and a grenadier. A far cry from my real MOS- company clerk! I love to cook (but I made damned sure the US Army at Fort Knox KY didn't know that! Knox is where I took my basic and MOS training. Yeah that's where they filmed Goldfinger and Patton was our commanding general at one time too. Knox is the home of armour (tanks) and it's where I learned the basics of golf from my sarge who went on to be on the PGA tour later. We were taught to hit it straight down the middle and we soon learned not to slice or hook the ball. How? Simple. We had to play the ball 'where it lies'- too far left was the marksmanship refle range and too far right was the tanks gunning range! And Sarge made us hit from there too! I'll add my profile/bio from fanfiction.net soon but that's me. I live with Mama who is 82 and my brother who is 53. My youngest (51) brother runs his own auto shop and lives elsewhere (5 miles away). Mama is a widow, retired but still works at a local college cafeteria 4 hours daily 5 days a week. My brother Bobby (Pete is the mechanic) is on permanent disability. The other member of our family is Jasmine, our 13 year old Border Collie/Siberian Huskie mix doggie. She thinks she's still a puppy and hasn't slowed down one iota. She still sleeps on the window sill of our pix window in the living room BION. A bit late so look for my first blog ashita er tomorrow. I'll give ya all my blogs, websites, fanfics sites, etc. then as well. Ja mata er see ya later-K&K
