Bio
Most writers will tell you they have a passion for words. I’m no exception. From the time I could read, my face was stuck in a book. I’ve always loved adventure and books were my ticket out of teen boredom into the world of adventure from the Alaska’s wilderness to the sweltering jungles of Vietnam, to the colorful world of the Caribbean. As an adult I worked as a radio announcer for many years and enjoyed the heck out of that. It was a fun, exciting career, but eventually, I came home to my real love…books. Beyond writing, I am a federal employee who works for Social Security and a grandmother raising her teenage grandson. Dawson, my grandson, loves cars and I’m getting quite an education on transmissions, struts and tires. I try to help with homework, but the math is new and chemistry is just beyond me. Family is at my core and large Sunday dinners are standard.
