Bio
I am a member of the Compline Choir, which has been singing the Office of Compline at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Seattle, since 1956. I received several degrees in Music Theory and History, and taught music and directed choirs in the 1970s, then had a career as a software engineer. I retired from my last position, at Microsoft in July, 2015. I am a Benedictine Oblate at St. Placid Priory in Lacey, Washington. I wrote a book, "Prayer as Night Falls: Experiencing Compline," which was published by Paraclete Press in 2013. I'm currently working on other projects involving spirituality, music, family history, and cooking, in various combinations!.
