Bio
Kent Roth was born and raised in Ellinwood, Kansas. He completed his education by receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the University of Kansas in 1975, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Washburn University School of Law in 1979.
Roth was elected to the Kansas Legislature following his first year of law school in 1976, and served six years representing eastern Barton County. Kent with his wife JoAnn married in 1979 and resided in the county seat, Great Bend, for twenty-five years where Roth engaged in the general practice of law moving into the Roth family home at the corner of Wilhelm and Third in Ellinwood July 1, 2005.
Kent and JoAnn Roth adopted at birth two (2) adult children, Bonnie and Alex, both of Ellinwood. His law office is located at 10 N. Main in Ellinwood near the site where his Great, Great Grandfather operated the first Rader & Son general merchandise store.
