I am a 68 year old Camino and global pilgrimage junkie having done 20 Caminos walking over 500 days on The Camino as well as many other pilgrimages around the world, including; Via Francesco (Way of St. Francis) Florence to Assisi to Rome, Via Francigena Canterbury to Rome, Japan Kumano Kodo Kohechi, Nakahechi, and Iseji Routes as well as 88 Temple Pilgrimage. Via Podiensis Chemin duPuy LePuy en Velay to Santiago, and Camino from my ancestral home in Clare, Ireland via France Cherbourg to St. Jean Pied de Port. Nepal Treks; Everest Base Camp, Three Passes, Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp, Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Langtang, Gosaikunda Lake, and Helambu. West Highland Way in Scotland, Kerry Way, Beara Way, Dingle Way, Wicklow Way, Burren Way, Western Way in Ireland. Inca Trail Salkantay to Machu Picchu, and Choquoquirao in Peru. Lost City Trek in Colombia. Various walks in Africa, Laos, Myanmar, Ecuador, and Mexico. Jesus Trail in Israel. visited 80 countries to date.
