Bio
Having survived birthing, raising four children and watching two of those children raise their children, I have watched the products available for moms grow from a minimal selection to a smorgasboard of choices. I was told by the pediatrician that my first two children must sleep on their stomaches or they could choke in their sleep. Sleep positioners were a must have when the third child was born so he could sleep on his side, thus avoiding choking. By the time my fourth child arrived, the pediatrician insisted I put him on his back when he slept to avoid choking. As a seasoned mother about to leave the hospital for the fourth time, I told the doctor this child was going to lie on whatever part of his body that made him sleep.
