Bio
David and I learnt Batik in Malaysia. We have been practicing for a few years ...initially as a hobby and part of our daily routine of creating for soul satisfaction.
Little time passed and we got more and more into the colourful world of Batiking.This ancient technique of painting on natural fabrics, such a cotton, silk or linen got us really busy and as we move to different cities and countries...the most important piece of luggage to carry it has always been our batik accessories and array of lovely pigments, bee`s wax and chanting tools to be able to create our art everywhere any time.
We are located in Clifton Beach, Queensland . Australia, where we live a life "all in colors" inspired by the surroundings of peaceful beaches, extraordinary bush, exotic birds, fauna, the Australian reef and rain forest magic.
The Clifton community has welcomed us very well, and are always happy to tell us that we have "coloured their life", since every new piece we create is exhibit immediately out side of our studio in Clifton Beach for them to enjoy and appreciate.
