Bio
I have loved the mountains my entire life and find that fierce landscapes, in their implacability, speak to me of life and my place in the universe. I am a retired Ph.D. behavioral scientist and hospital chaplain living with terminal cancer.
My life has been a continual spiritual quest and I have recently begun to follow the Druid path after many years as an evolving Christian. The most meaningful metaphor for the divine for me is found in Elen of the Way and I am grateful for her company and her guidance. I am also focused on honoring my ancestors through studies of Celtic history and spirituality.
After living and working in a major East Coast city, I am fortunate to have retired to a small mountain community in far northwest Montana where I am surrounded by mountains, wildlife, and stillness. Unfortunately, retirement brought with it a diagnosis of stage 4 incurable cancer but that too has provided a richness of experience. My ¨sell-by¨ date was 5 years ago but I am still here and life is the best ever!
