Bio
Nature has always been a big part of my childhood. My mom would take all four kids camping at Cunningham Falls State Park regularly throughout the summer. I was lucky enough to live right on the Chesapeake Bay growing up. When I was seven, we moved to an oceanfront townhouse on the Atlantic. Two years later, we moved to the farm, where I spent the rest of my childhood and young adult life.
I love the outdoors. I feel like the best version of myself when I’m able to re-charge in nature.
My bachelor of science degree is in Animal and Avian sciences (pre-vet track) from the University of Maryland.
My Master of Science degree is from a Registered Nursing program with an emphasis in leadership, also from the University of Maryland.
I currently work full-time as a nursing supervisor and Charge Nurse on a large general surgery unit. In my free time, I enjoy studying Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda, nutrition, minimalism, and all things spiritual.
