Bio
By profession I am an educator. Following the death of my husband who had Alzheimer's disease, I published two books. The first was his drawings that he completed during the last two years of his life as he declined with dementia. He was a well-known artist and retired art professor. His expressions of his disease provided an important, first-hand account of a difficult disease. His disease silenced his verbal communication abilities but did not silence his second language--art.
