Bio
I'm a Cuban photographer and mix media artist. I was raised in Venezuela until the age of 7 and then headed to the United States for the American dream. My family decided to reside in Miami, Fl and that's were everything started. At a young age I was always inspired by fashion and art. Seeing my aunt in Venezuela do hand made couture pieces, I still have that vision of her late at night hand beading a bridal gown that till this day that vision has stayed with me. I remember going to bed and thinking " wow". After that I knew that fashion and art will go hand in hand.Through the years I've developed so many interest and always re-inventing my creative soul. I started with visual merchandising, then doing store front windows, fashion styling, some painting, and I keep finding more and more things I want to add to my art experience. I've worked with some great company's were I have learned so much about myself and my style of work but I always knew that deep inside I was not a " corporate" type person. I always wanted to do my own things and create my own styles, so through the process it was both rewarding and hard. Rewarding because I got to learn so much and meet wonderful people and hard because I had my own style of work and wanted to break free from someone telling me what to do. It took me many years to finally break free from it all. At one point, I remember doing things just because I thought they would get me closer to what I wanted to do and letting people decide my fate but all that did was get me further away from my Dreams! I was also blessed with traveling around the world to so many places I never imagined going. All this was just missing pieces of what would one day be my freedom to be an artist. As a photographer, I'm self taught and I photograph the simplest things in life. My gift is to bring these things to world through a different set of eyes. In 2011 my dream finally came true. La Vie Boheme became a reality! That's my own little shop were all my creative inspirations come together. There's so much more to explore in this world of art and I'm still a baby walking the path. I'm in a time of my life that, I fell like a sponge. All I want to do is soak every creative vision and inspiration to my life. Nature and spirituality play such an important role in my life. They shape me in every step of the way. I'm ever so blessed for this, my family, my small circle of friends, the people that love what I create and God.
