Bio
Lawrence Holcomb is a sociologist (Brandeis Ph.D., 2003) who applies psychoanalytic, developmental, and evolutionary psychological principles to the examination of cultural issues and the exploration of social life. Holcomb is especially concerned with the following issues animating the American cultural/social landscape, including: 'racial' and ethnic relationships, religion and spirituality, politics, sports, film, music and sexual/gender relationships. Having taught at a small evangelical Christian college for 15 years, Holcomb has pivoted to pursue his first love, literature, and a career as a writer.
