Bio
How did I become interested in Photography? In a very around-about way.
In high school I joined the yearbook team as it was seen as an easy-A class - plus you got to sign out of school for "yearbook work" (lunch, afternoon naps, and trips to the lake..). Here I met a now good friend of mine, photoshop.
After aquiring the software myself, I gave up on all video games, chatrooms, and reality t.v. shows and spent my time entertaining myself by teaching myself how to manipulate photographs.
Just before the completion of my junior year I was offered a job at the local photography studio for my interest and abilities in photoshop.
Once at Lucas Photography, I met Matt Lucas whose art and expertise opened up the most important door in my life thus far.
I soon cashed in my life's savings and bought my first DSLR, a Canon 20D. Since owning this first camera, I have continued to soak up all knowledge pertaining to image manipulation and capture that I possibly could. Now working alongside my now best friend Matt Lucas and attending the University of Central Missouri (formally CMSU) for a B.S. in Photography I still play with photoshop as often as possible and have come quite a ways since my first days in yearbook.
Though I will soon graduate, I refuse to ever stop being a student, and can't wait to be a teacher to anyone who has interest in the field of photography.
