Bio
Lil Bankhead is one of the youngest in the industry, but is well on his way to becoming a mover and shaker. If you turn on your radio to V-103 you may be surprised to hear the fill-in on-air personality taking over the airwaves as young girls and Atlanta scream, "Lil Baaaaankhead!" Lil Bankhead who proudly represents the Westside of Atlanta's Zone 1, is a graduate of Fredrick Douglas High School. Much like his mentors, T.I. and Greg Street, Lil Bankhead stays on the grind and always connected to the streets. It's his street credibility that has brought him this far and will take him even further. At any early age of 18, Lil Bankhead experienced first hand what it felt like to be a risk-taker in pursuit of your dreams. Lil Bankhead was offered a full scholarship to attend New York University, but passed it up to pursue a dream to be in the entertainment industry. Many years later, the dream is very much a reality. His first entertainment hustle was at Atlanta-based record label, So So Def in their promotions department, where he learned how important it was to build your networking. From So So Def, Lil Bankhead worked in Atlanta Radio until he got a break with V-103, all while attending AIU Buckhead studying Media Production. Shortly after graduating from AIU, he began filling in for Greg Street and realized, he found his niche. Lil Bankhead continues to work hard to master his craft, remaining humble and grounded. Proud to represent his hood “Bankhead” (where his name originates from), he knows it won't be much longer before his name isn't just an Atlanta household name but a national name.
