Bio
I have been writing poetry--not perfectly--for 24 years. I started writing at age 13 when the muse really got my attention. I remember so badly wanting a mini tape recorder because ZING! I would "get an inspiration" which would leave me almost as fast as it came, far faster than I could get to pen and paper. I have a goal to publish a book of poetry, but right now I am writing poetry because I love poetry, and I don't know who I would be if I didn't
I write/revise/journal every day. I have become a member of the Lighthouse Writers in Denver and am very active there. My hope is that someone, somewhere will read something I have written and think, "Ahhhh".
I have two feline kiddos, Marlowe and Clyde. Stuff I like: the color orange; the smell of lilacs; sitting out on my balcony writing; thunderstorms because they are cleansing and they put me in a writing and reading mood; clean sheets right out of the dryer; U2; my Doc Martens.
