Bio

I'm an Italophile foodie seeking a simple life. I lived in Italy right after college, and still travel there at least once a year. Exploring Italian food culture sates my wanderlust. When I came to live on the East Coast (from Pittsburgh, PA) in 2001, I discovered that Italian food is discussed, marketed and served here with much pretension. I don't understand why.
