Bio
Little Green Pixie began in 2008, after many years of experimenting, crazy gifts for family and friends, and much faery research. I, Anna, decided to sell the magical objects I was creating, following my mantra of doing what I love, because we only live once. It has been a back and forth ride for the past 3 years as my craft has expanded and retracted, but lately expanding. I also offer performance skills in the forms of face painting, storytelling, and magic all while being in the character of a pixie. Catch me at a festival and I will transform you into a faery, play games with you, and make you giggle with delight.
I was born in Milwaukee, WI. Sometime in high school I developed an accute interest in all things Faerie and began studying folklore and fashion. I made my first pair of wings at the age of 15, out of coat wire and pantyhose. I finished high school, had my daughter, Ellette, and began college. During college, I studied abroad, in Ireland, and learned even more about the Little Folk that had been my inspiration for so many years. Upon completing my degree in 2008, I hit the road, travelling across the country to perform on the streets of America. I met so many wonderful people and saw marvelous things, and the knowledge gained on my travels stays with me. Now, I have relocated to Evanston, a suburb of Chicago, to experience something new.
