Bio
In short:
I’m a sharer, when I have an idea – be it a design or a recipe - I need to tell people… that’s what this is for.
More information:
When I have an idea, I have to try to make and develop it. I love the initial excitement whether the idea is awful or not.
I recently finished my degree in Archaeology and Anthropology - don’t ask me why I chose it, but I did love it! I now have a life again and want to spread my love of creating interesting things.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been doing ‘Arts & Crafts’ with my mum – from making Easter Bonnets for school, to storage bags with fairies on them. Cooking took longer for me to catch onto, mainly because I copied my fussy sister’s eating habits and I wasn’t trusted with the oven. The first dish I was let loose on was Ready Break, and while it remains one of my favourites, I’ve since added to my repertoire.
On this blog I plan to share some of my favourite recipes and my own experimental, healthy ones … generally those that are great for sharing! My dishes will cater to different allergies – I’ve found that removing ingredients allows creative thinking with recipes.
I’ll also be putting some of my art and ideas online - some finished, some that need developing. I find art (especially sewing at present) very therapeutic. I lose hours when I’m focused on something… it’s my take on mindfulness!
Hopefully you’ll enjoy reading some of my internal chatter and perhaps respond to me with your comments and advice.
