I’m a Berlin-based multimedia journalist, photographer, and designer originally from Cape Town, South Africa. With a career spanning over 65 countries, I explore sustainability, culture, and the human condition through multimedia journalism, photography, and design.
In 2024, I launched Māya, my studio’s sustainable textile line with research and visual work focused on artistry and heritage. Through Studio Lizane Louw, I collaborate with master artisans to create hand-printed, eco-conscious textiles that preserve traditional crafts and foster meaningful connections.
Whether designing textiles, crafting stories, or facilitating workshops, I strive to inspire creativity and build community through my work.
