Bio
I am a teenager who lives in the Netherlands. Before I lived in the Netherlands I lived in Canada. Canada is an extremely multicultural country, which allows thousands of immigrants to enter annually. I attended public schools in Canada. Once I moved to the Netherlands I first visited a Dutch school. I soon moved to an International School due to problems with the Dutch language. Once in the International School I soon noticed that people were way more accepting of each others backgrounds then in the dutch school. This got me thinking. This is when the Personal Project came along. A personal project is a project which an MYP student has to complete in his/her final year to receive an MYP diploma. Due to all the experience that I have had with immigration and such I decided that this would be a main focus of my project. Eventually I decided to create a website where people could come together and discuss. I will also upload articles which people can respond to. Hopefully this will become a place for people to be themselves and talk about what matters to them.
