Bio
Even though I am a widow, I am enjoying my senior years doing many of the things I have enjoyed all my life. After graduation from Ohio Wesleyan University (1957) I became a June bride and became Lois Getz Mountz. I loved teaching elementary school for 10 years (one of those years in Germany), started our family (Steve and Cindy), then started a career as an organist, artist and gallery owner. My husband and I had a well-respected gallery and custom framing business for 50 years. We also showed my art work at a great number of art shows and galleries. Having taken a year of organ during my senior year at Ohio Wesleyan, I found myself taking an organist position soon after college. Now, as a retired gallery owner and church organist, I spend my time enjoying my family, as well as composing and recording music, painting, gardening and writing on my blog/website. My music arrangements and compositions are now found throughout the world as are my paintings.
