Bio
Hugely successful in long distance pigeon racing. I have traveled the world and met a lot of upcoming and established top pigeon men.
My success was my downfall, at club level ,other people in the club I was in just could not hack a relatively new comer winning as I did at club level, and international level.
At club level I took the secretary post on as in most local clubs many members do not like to volunteer their services.
And as a secretary I did not expect to be battered in the club house by a jealous mediocre pigeon racing man who always thought that success was provided by using the medicine bottle and trying to get better pigeons by trying a little persuasion and sucking up to the likes of one older member I had great respect for who told me the tales he had wised up to,and his wife really got stuck in to the blagger.
The older fancier was a flyer of the Dordin breed of racing pigeon , and he had great success with them.
And for me this fancier gave me a lot of knowledge when I started racing in the club.
Those were the days when we still had a good older generation of pigeon men.
But those days are gone , and the bad times I had have also gone.
The methods today are very different , and the likes of the Chinese and Asian fanciers have took the Pigeon racing world by storm, and in fact most of my own pigeons which I sold have ended up in some top lofts there.
Well as they say onward and upwards so watch this space.
