Bio
I have been a self-taught crafter since elementary school, selling handmade clay beaded necklaces to my friends on the playground. Since then I have worked with a wide array of art mediums.
Currently, my draw is to leather working. I have fallen in love with repurposing leather and other worn materials as my main medium. The leather not only tells a story, but is always soft and increases in comfort and beauty the more worn it is. I draw my inspiration from morning nature/city walks, I call them my "morning forage" for design and creation. Most of my designs are based off of something I would love to have, but can not find. With jewelry pieces, I love things that are unique, eye catching, make an impression, and easily pair up with any outfit. I always have strangers come up to me, admiring my leather work and wondering where they can find it, and my reply always is "I made it". I love making things for others, because I know they will love it and wear it often. If I don't make it they will never have it. Love and Worn is my company, handmade creation, each with a unique story, that as it continues and is repurposed, redesigned, and worn, the creation becomes more rich, beautiful, and loved.
When I am not crafting, I enjoy traveling, camping, music, dancing, Science Fiction, running sports, cooking, and laughing with friends. My cat is pretty cute too.
