Bio
I've been retired 6 years from full time work in San Francisco. What I've discoved is that retirement is not a word to describe my life since. I'm doing more of what I want to do, am enjoying what it means to not be doing things, discovering more about who I am, finding new creative outlets, and now, at the threshold of turning 70, am ready to share some of my life experiences with whoever wants to read about them. 70 was always an age that sounded ancient to me. Now that I'm here, I want to talk about the fallacy of that belief, at the same time as I want to stand on all those years with confidence, knowing that what I have learned is worth sharing.
Update: It's now 4 years later and I'm still "loving being 74, almost." I have a more recent blog: www. hereswhatiknow.blogspot.com
that is more current than this....
