Bio
I worked in Youth ministry for several years, and realized I would be more useful in education and am working in Beijing while I finish my MDiv.
The thoughts put down in this blog range from ministerial, theological, to attempts to assess the culture. This is not a scholarly blog so if you desire citation for what I argue please ask. I find they make things confusing unless they are really needed.
The title of the blog is chosen because I believe the goal of life is and will be for all eternity closeness to God. All other things serve that end, whether kingdom, covenant, salvation or the redemptive historical narrative. They find their goal in union with Christ, development of our persons into oneness with him, an all encompassing and ultimate goal that is too often seen as penultimate or separate from other goals.
