Bio
I am a grandmother with an interest family history. While seeking out particular individuals, I have come across some great stories. On a recent holiday to Europe we visited some of the significant towns of many of our ancestors. I was surprised how close to Windsor Castle, Robert and Fred Richards once lived. They played within site of the castle, and attended church close to Mill Lane.
Rudolph Henry Brown is an ancestor of Peter’s family. He lived at Elsignor near the iconic Kronburg Castle which inspired Shakespeare "Hamlet"
In Ireland we visited Carlow, where Peters Mothers family originated and the Coonamara where John Cloherty lived, Galway, and Thurles was meaningful. It was also great to see the many of the buildings of our ancestors time, which fortunately are still the same today. Dublin
Was very interesting because there was a large Viking settlement there and lots of examples of how the Vikings lived.
