Bio
I am Liz - writer, chef and photographer of luvintheoven... a middle school art teacher by day and an amateur cook by night. I am a self-taught chef-in-training and cake decorator and learned everything I know from my watching my mom cook, food blogs, an (excessive) collection of cookbooks and a whole lot of trial and error! All of my culinary adventures are had in my tiny 7 by 10 foot galley kitchen in Philadelphia where I live with my husband/dishwasher/taste tester/#1fan, David, and our two cats.
Although baking is my one one true love, you will find a variety of recipes on my blog. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I have enjoyed cooking!
