Strange thing about me is I hardly ever read any fiction.. (having said that I'm reading Kristin Lavansdatter right now, but only because I'm desperate for a decent book. I'm always trying to figure out "why." I endlessly research the following topics: history, archaeology, dance history, costume/clothes/fashion, religion, culture, art, and new foods (because eating the same thing all the time is boring). I play the Irish fiddle by ear, sing accapella, and dance when I can (Irish and Indian, mostly). I like cats, but not in a sick way....I love to travel and see new things...
I do love kids and remembering how it is to see something from a child's point of view. I have a lot of boys...but I'm such a girly-girl that we've never had a lot to talk about and I've finally given up on putting them in feises against their will (Irish dance competitions).
I've had a few exchange students and right now, I'm an exchange person, living in Mexico. I'm enjoying discovering so many new things...and want to share them with anybody who is interested....
