Bio
I'm a science and technology journalist with a background in analytical and environmental chemistry. I left the lab in 2014 to pursue journalism full time, and since then I've written for Wired, Pacific Standard, KQED San Francisco, Bay Nature, and the San Francisco Public Press. My roots are in chemistry and climate change but I love writing and learning about science and tech of all stripes! I earned my masters in chemistry from UC San Diego and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and my masters in journalism from UC Berkeley.
