Bio
I am a therapeutic bodyworker. I help people realize the healing potential inside themselves by manipulating their fascial structure and asking them to move. This technique "perturbs" the structure just enough, so that it does not know how to return to it's original pattern. It then moves into a place of momentary chaos. It's not sure what to do. Then, the force of gravity coupled with the body's innate ability to re-organize itself kicks in. That is how change occurs. Our perception of reality gets "shaken up" and we move into another place. This notion of perturbation is universal in its' application and can be witnessed in any natural system.
I'm not a believer in "no pain, no gain". This perturbing that I do, must be strong enough to create change, but without having you pull away from me. It is a dance. Coupled with dialogue, we dance and play with an awakening that slowly blossoms in the awareness.
It is this awareness of how it feels to inhabit our body that causes the change to last for years, if not decades.
