Marcello Rollando, is a seasoned Theatre/Video Director and On-Camera Actor, Writer and Voice Talent shose national credits from NYC/DC to Virginia/Florida, include .
the first Rehearsal Department Director for Juilliard's American Opera Center, where I I was introduced and recommended to President Joseph W. Polisi by Elaine Bonazzi, with whom I had worked as the first Assistant Stage Director of the Peabody Conservatory of Music Opera Department.
During my directing and on-camera career I’ve enjoyed successes at NBC/ABC, Lincoln Center, The Juilliard School, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington’s Shakespeare Theatre Company, the Broward County Center for the Arts, the annual awards ceremony of the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission - and Spoleto Festival USA.
As Director, Writer, TV Actor and Radio Producer/Anchor/Host/Voiceover/Reporter, working with me is a journey into the creation of in-depth insight, paving the path to and through shrewd result-oriented teamwork with both production staff/crew and performers of every artistic discipline.
Developing new scripts and writers - on camera or on stage, my work ignites intended responses of laughter, tears and thought-provoking curiosity that both inspires multi-cultural consciousness and dedication to the planet and all life upon it.
