Bio
My name is MarkieMark. As a nomadic entrepreneur, critical observer, change maker, life hacker and outdoor enthusiast I started this blog, because I keep having people tell me I should share my thoughts, convictions and believes on life, travel, nomadism, social networking, cultural exchange, tourism, politics and more.
Over the past few years and thanks to many adventures in life, I have managed to transform myself from a well raised and well educated person who felt partially restrained by the unwritten rules of society, into a passionate traveler, nomadic entrepreneur, tourism evangelist, change maker, life hacker and free thinker on a number of interesting subjects.
Being Dutch, my background helps me to be direct, honest and clear when discussing any topic in any setting, preferably with a touch of humor added to the mix. After all, smiling is good for your health.
THE BLOG OF A NOMAD allows me to share my views on life with anyone out there who's interests are peeked by (one of) my posts. With approximately one third of my life lived at the time of this blog's creation, it is about time to let others benefit from my collected knowledge and experiences, at least according to the people who encouraged me to start my blog.
As an athlete, coach, trainer, manager, therapist and world traveler I have re-directed my life. Currently my pass times include being a nomadic entrepreneur and an inspirationalist on topics of travel/tourism, self exploration, life hacks, politics and social media. I will always remain a passionate traveler, an athlete, an eternal migrant and inspirationalist-by-chance.
THE BLOG OF A NOMAD is not so much a place of mere blog-sumption as it is intended as a place of exchange and interaction. Please leave your comment(s) on my posts or on other comments. Do keep it respectful though, it's the only way to be...
