ABOUT MARQUITA WATERS
Marquita Waters is a multifaceted performing artist based out of Los Angeles, California. She was represented by The William Morris Agency and released music as the critically acclaimed Mia Morrell during the Frank Sinatra era. She has appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Merv Griffin Show and The Steve Allen Show. Her voice can be heard on the hit TV Show, The Nanny and the trailer of the Blockbuster film, Ghostbusters II.

Marquita continues to release music as an independent artist. She has released Contemporary Christian singles such as “I Will Not Grow Weary,” “Just About Lovin’ You Lord,” and “Christ,” a swing album titled, “Gotta Get It Right” and a walk cassette called, “Walking With God.” She also has been a Vocal Coach for 30 years and is still coaching to this day.
Marquita was a competitive runner for 20 years. She completed several Marathons, finishing among the top 300 women and is an All-American in 5K and 10K races. She spent seven years ministering at a maximum security camp for boys who were felons and has devoted many years to rescuing dogs and cats… and they still seem to know her address.
