Bio
Marianna is a committed and energetic teacher with a passion for positive psychology and the science of happiness.
After studying in Germany and Italy, she successfully defended her thesis entitled “Carl Sandburg’s Zest for Life. The Dynamism of Youth and the Meaning of Natural Elements in Chicago Poems”, and received an MA with honors in English with a minor in German from the University of Udine, Italy.
In her 13-year long experience in the field of education, mainly teaching English and German but also as a Director of Studies, she has researched and experienced the power of emotional learning: she believes that happiness is a habit and that teaching children to be optimistic and resilient can lead to optimal learning and better achievements.
