Bio
I was born in California, but grew up just outside Seattle, Wa. I'm an avid traveler and have been to several places around the world, first setting out when I was 20 to backpack through Central and South America. During that year I lived for a few months in both Guatemala and Colombia, where I developed a true appreciation for culture, language, and the art of having fun.
After exploring the Americas, I spent time in Cambodia and Vietnam before making the leap to Italy, where I studied Italian in Bologna. Eating my way across continents allowed me to discover my other passion—food. I guess you could say I'm a foodie, but tastes, colors, and presentation aside, what I love most about eating and cooking is the time shared with friends and loved ones. Nothing brings people together like a good meal.
I thrive off experiencing life in different cultures and learning about the history behind them, so it’s not hard to see why I've settled in Barcelona—a city that seems to offer the perfect balance of tradition and diversity; a city drowning in history, yet one of the hippest places in the world for young people today. And in the land where Ferran Adrià is synonymous with gastronomy, there’s no better place to continue my culinary adventures.
