Bio
The Diane Arbus' quote, "I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them" speaks to me.
I carry a camera with me everywhere. Yes, seriously everywhere.
I shoot film exclusively now except for the addition of the Leica M11-P Safari (digital)and especially love medium format. The Hasselblad V series cameras (500C) was my first love in medium format. I have many cameras and use them all. Recently, I discovered I thoroughly enjoy the rangefinder experience so I have added a few classic 35mm cameras, a Leica MP, a couple of Leica M3s, M4P, and an M2 not to forget the Leica predecessor the Leica Barnacks (too many to list) as well as classic Nikon rangefinders (again, too many to list). Sometimes a smaller, inconspicuous camera is a necessity.
For fun I shoot early Nikon SLRs in particular Nikon Fs, F2s and Nikkormat cameras. There is a trend here in that I prefer fully mechanical cameras. There is something to be said for less is more.
In addition to my love of photography, I am a lover of good coffee and a voracious reader. There are always a book or two to be read.
